How is the price of a veneer made up?
Three parts: the material, the lab work and the clinical time. A hand-layered e.max veneer takes a ceramist several hours; a milled veneer takes minutes. Both can be called “porcelain veneers”, which is why prices vary so much.
Why do quotes for the same treatment differ?
Because they rarely describe the same treatment. One quote may count eight veneers, another ten. One may include the hotel and the try-in visit, another not. Ask every clinic to put the details in writing.
What should a written quote name?
- The number of veneers and which teeth
- The material and brand (for example e.max, Ivoclar)
- Whether the veneers are layered by hand or milled
- Temporaries during your stay
- Every visit, scan and X-ray
- Hotel nights and transfers, if included
- Aftercare: how long, what is covered, and the conditions
- What happens, and what it costs, if the plan changes at the first visit
Are there hidden costs?
There should not be. A fair quote is written after a doctor has seen your photos or X-ray, and it does not change once you land unless you agree in writing to a change.
Where do our prices start?
You can see our starting prices on the prices page. Your own price comes in a written quote after a doctor has reviewed your photos.
How many veneers do people usually choose?
Most people choose eight to ten veneers on the upper teeth, because those are the teeth that show when they smile. Some add the lower front teeth. The number depends on how wide your smile is, and it is the main thing that changes the total price. The doctor proposes a number from your photos, and the preview shows the difference before you decide.
Hand-layered or milled: does it change the price?
Yes. A hand-layered veneer takes a ceramist several hours: the colour is built up in layers, with a clearer edge and a warmer tone near the gum. A milled veneer is cut from a block in minutes and then stained. Both are porcelain, but they are different products, so compare quotes on the method as well as the price. Our guide on e.max or zirconia explains the materials.
What else might be part of the plan?
- Whitening of the teeth that are not covered, so the shades match
- Treatment of gum inflammation before veneers are placed
- Replacing old fillings next to the veneers
- A night guard if you grind your teeth
A good quote names these items separately, so you can see what is needed and why.
How do travel costs fit in?
Hand-layered veneers with a try-in take about six nights in Antalya. Add flights and any nights or transfers that are not included, and the time off work. Our guide on how long to stay shows typical stays per treatment.
How do deposits and payment usually work?
Ask before you book: how much the deposit is, when the balance is due, which currency and payment methods are accepted, and what happens to the deposit if you cancel or the plan changes. All of this should be in writing.
Does health insurance cover veneers?
Usually not, because veneers are mostly chosen to change the look of healthy teeth. Some policies contribute when a tooth is damaged. Ask your insurer before treatment; we provide a written plan and a detailed invoice.
Is a cheaper veneer a false saving?
Not always, but look at what you are comparing. Veneers that need replacing sooner, or a plan without a try-in, can cost more over the years than the difference at the start. Compare the method, the material, the visits and the written aftercare, not only the price per tooth.
How long do veneers last, and what does that do to the real cost?
Porcelain veneers usually last many years: in clinical studies most are still in place after ten years, and many after fifteen. Composite bonding costs less at the start but usually needs polishing or renewing after five to seven years. Spread over the years they last, the difference between the two is smaller than the first price suggests. Our guide on how long veneers, crowns and implants last gives the details and the habits that help.
Does the amount of preparation change the price?
Not much, but it changes what you keep. A veneer that needs little or no preparation costs about the same as one that needs more, yet it keeps more of your natural tooth for the future. A quote that suggests crowns on healthy front teeth may look similar in price, but it removes far more tooth. Our guide on whether veneers mean filing teeth down explains how to read that part of a plan.
